There were so many Cathedrals to choose from but I had to choose St Patrick's in Auckland. It was built on 1848 until 1845. If my calculations are correct than it would have taken 33 years which seems like a lot of hard work if you ask me. I hope you've learned more about St Patrick's Cathedral.
Hi there Tupouseini, thanks for working hard and completing another activity in the Summer Learning Journey programme. It is great to have you blogging with us.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cathedral you have chosen to include for this activity. Can I ask why you chose it?
Why do you think it took 33 years to finish building?
Thanks, Billy
Hi there Tupouseini
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing Cathedral you have chosen. Why did you choose this Cathedral for this activity? (Happy holidays)
Hi Tupouseini!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Ellee, I am another part of the Summer Learning Journey Crew that is commenting on your blogs this summer.
Looks like you have made an awesome start to your activities over the break, great job!
It was really cool to read about a local cathedral, I have driven past St Patrick's cathedral a couple times but I didn't know all of this information about it, very cool! Was there a reason you chose the St Patrick's cathedral?
33 years of building does sounds like a lot of hard work...I wonder why it took so long?
I really like the tiling out the front, kind of looks like an optical illusion!
Awesome job with this activity Tupouseini, hopefully we will see you back blogging soon!
Ellee :)
