My fruit salad art
We have been learning about how a seed sprouts. I drew a picture of the inside of a lemon to see it's seeds.

Snagit with Isabell
I worked on a snagit with Isabell to say what we liked about our favourite movie at the film festival. It was a little bit hard because it was noisy and we were laughing. When we were finished we were happy with the result.

Anzac day
On 25th April 2015, it was the 100th anniversary of ANZAC soldiers landing at Gallipoli. We learnt lots of things about life and war for the ANZAC soldiers when we visited Auckland Museum in April. We created poppies, we have written poems and letters about ANZAC and World War 1.

Making pizza
We are learning about fractions this term. To remember and think about what we already know, we made sausage roll and pizza with clay. We divided our shapes into fractions. Each piece was the same size. Then, we made some pizza toppings for a whole pizza. We shared them out on our pizza. Each quarter of my pizza had the same number of toppings.

Visiting Paris!
This is one of the first Digital Learning Objects that we created and it was quite tricky. I chose somewhere in the world I would like to visit one day. Then I found an image of it on Google images. Next, I cut around a photograph of my head using Pixlr so I could put myself in that place. Maybe I will travel there in the future in real life.

My Top Tip
Ctrl+H=History
Ctrl H is a rare shortcut because a lot of people don't really use Ctrl H and I think that people should use Ctrl H.

Two of my class mates save the day!
Talofa lava, my name is Tupouseini and I am in Room 10 at
Ruapotaka School. I am in Year 5 and my teacher’s name is Mrs Buchanan. My culture is Tongan. I have two brothers and one sister.
My favourite subjects at school are maths and reading. For reading it was awkward because I was the only girl in my reading group but now two girls are in my group - phew! My maths is my strength because when the word maths is said, I just think of numbers. My favourite author is Roald Dahl and my favourite book is James and the Giant Peach.
Someone who inspires me is Mrs Buchanan. Mrs Buchanan inspires me because she is always saying what’s best for me and if I could choose to be someone I would choose to be Mrs Buchanan because she is the best teacher ever.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
