On Wednesday it was our last day of Technicraft for 2018. I was so glad that I completed my pendant, it was a long process making it and now I can wear it. For the past few weeks at tech I've been making a cross pendant for my necklace. I'm satisfied with the final product and all that hard work paid off.
This blog is a record of my learning from Ruapotaka School in Auckland, NZ through to Tamaki College.

Christmas Crossover!π
Yesterday we are began Christmas Crossover and I was so excited. The whole school was divided into equal groups of nine, well most of the groups were even. The years seven and eight students in the groups were responsible for looking after the younger students. In my group we had no students from room 1 or 5. Which made it a bit easier as we didn't have to help anyone.
We made Christmas decorations in Room 1 with Mrs Hoeberigs. I can't wait to do more activities today.

Let's Litter Less!
For the past few weeks we've been working very hard in our groups to finish our presentation. My group is small but we have good ideas. Each person had to talk about an important part of littering. My slide is the second one. We each had to think of a question that is relevant to our inquiry topic. This slide presentation was made by Liza,Robati,Henry and myself.
Cultural Groups!
Since the start of term 4 the years 7 and 8 students have been working hard practicing their cultural dances.
I'm so glad that the Tongan group started in term 3 because we would've been freaking out trying to learn a dance.
The other groups have been hardworking and giving it their all during practice. I hope we do good in our dance on prize giving and cultural groups day. Until then we will be busy practicing and perfecting our performance.

I Declare A Ceasefire!
This week my group and I have been studying information about Armistice Day. My slide is number 4 which is mostly about the agreement. In my group there is Malia, Izabella, Ana and myself. Armistice day is a day that should be recognized and celebrated more in NZ because it was to mark the end of WW1 or the great war. From what we've been researching Armistice Day should be one of the important days.

Back From The Film Festival!
I'm so glad that I made it back to school on the bus with my friends. As I predicted I am exhausted and happy that it is over. But not really because I still have to go to the one showcasing in the evening.
I was able to see many schools like Glenbrae, Glen Taylor and other cool schools. My favourite part was getting to see my friends and cousins from the other schools. I even got to see our old teacher Mr Sok.
At least the day is over and now I can kick back, relax and watch more manaiakalani movies.

The Manaiakalani Film Festivals!π
Today I am going to the film festival with my teacher and Saluselo because we are presenters for our class film. I am both nervous and excited because this is my first time presenting. I'm excited mostly because I will get to present in front of many different schools and I get to watch their movies.
After the film festival I'm going to be so exhausted because I'm going to be there for the whole day, and I will be there in the evening. Hopefully I do well!π
